Getting "fit" is not about pushing through an excruciating workout. It is also not about just looking good on the surface or being a certain "weight" on the scale. If that is the only thing you are looking for, then we may not be the place for you. We are not rep counters or cheerleaders. We believe in order to succeed in fitness and health, you have to be strategic and intelligent in your methods in order to get effective and sustainable results. Exercise is physics and engineering, real science. Exercise is about applying the appropriate forces to your muscles and joints in a micro-progressive way in order to increase or maintain your body's ability to generate forces, increase its ability to tolerate forces and stressors, and slow down or stop any degenerative processes in the body.

What makes the difference?
We give you customized training that is tailor-made for your body. You may be looking to improve your performance in a particular sport, or regain your fitness level from an injury, or you may just want to look and feel your best in life. It first starts with an assessment of your goals, needs and history. We also suggest you start with at least one or two MAT sessions to address any muscular weaknesses or limitations and optimize your muscles' ability to contract. We need to know what condition your body is in, to know where you can go and where to start. We are not as interested in what you can do, but more what you cannot do. Otherwise, if you work out with existing compensation patterns, you will just end up making the strong muscles stronger and the weak muscles weaker.
Training at Sculpt, you will learn proper mechanics, and how to do exercises safely for YOUR body, in order to prevent injuries from occurring. Our motto has always been it is not What exercises you do, but HOW you do them that matters most. We want you to focus on building a solid foundation for your body; one that creates a strong internal structure. Your results need to be life-lasting and give you the ability to deal with the stresses of life.

Keep us in the loop
​
Injuries can hinder progress, so it is extremely important that before each session or a class you attend that you update us on how you felt during recent workouts. Also tell us about any changes you might have in sleep habits, diet, activity levels, stress levels, and/or overall health. Some days you have less energy than others or just don't feel your best. We want to know this, as we use this feedback in order to see what you are capable of and can adjust your day's session accordingly. Not every workout will be your strongest, yet some days you may want to push harder. The time we spend with you is all about You.

If you are stronger inside and out, you will be able to enjoy a much more fulfilling life doing the things you love most. Life is hard and we are constantly bombarded by its daily stressors.
